ARKANSAS EXECUTIVE ORDER - ENDS TELE-HEALTH VISITS FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENTS ONLY.

Executive Orders 20-06 and 20-16 that temporarily allowed the use of telehealth for medical marijuana certifications during the COVID-19 pandemic will end March 31, 2021.

Beginning April 1, 2021, physicians are once again prohibited from completing a written certificate to a patient based on an assessment performed through telemedicine. This is in compliance with Amendment 98 § 2.19.C

We believe ruling is not only unfair, but harms the patients who needed telemedicine the most - the elderly, sick, and disabled. ARCC remains committed to providing patients access to medical marijuana. We are still the leading state-wide provider with 6 physical clinics that are still operating across the state - Little Rock, North Little Rock, Bentonville, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, and Hot Springs. We are going to work through these changes and still deliver industry-leading care and access to medical marijuana to the patients who need it.
