The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) charges a registration fee. Recently, the MMCC reduced the cost of a medical marijuana card from $50 to $25, and the validity of the card has been increased from three to six years.
It is worth noting that some patients may qualify for a waiver of the application fee based on their income. The MMCC has a fee waiver application that can be found on the website, which can be filled out by the patient or their caregiver.
